Through relationships with Third-Party Administrators (TPA's), insurance carriers, and insurance brokers, employer groups can access our valuable services. Our services include: medical and case management; a comprehensive network of credentialed physicians, hospitals, and ancillary facilities, wellness and disease management programs, short-term disability case management, and Pennsylvania's Preferred Health Networks (PPHN), a statewide PPO network.

September is National Cholesterol Education Month

One in five Americans has high cholesterol. Many others do not realize they are at risk. High cholesterol is a serious condition that increases the risk for coronary heart disease, heart attack, and stroke. In general, the higher your LDL level, the greater your chances of developing heart disease or having a heart attack.

Age, gender and heredity affect cholesterol levels. However, you can reduce high cholesterol levels up to forty percent by making certain lifestyle changes including daily physical activity, eating healthy, maintaining a desirable weight, and not smoking.

Do you know if you have high cholesterol? Get your blood cholesterol checked this month.
