Pennsylvania’s Preferred Health Networks (PPHN) is a statewide affiliation of PPOs comprised of BHP, Central Susquehanna HealthCare Providers (CSHP) including the Williamsport area, PHC in Lancaster, Preferred Healthcare System (PHS) in Altoona, PrimeSource Health Network (PSHN) covering Harrisburg and Hershey, South Central Preferred (SCP) in York, and Vantage Managed Care Network covering Northwestern Pennsylvania. PPHN offers employers, through a single contract, regionally competitive physician fee schedules and preferred hospital pricing in over twenty-five counties across Pennsylvania. Employers, brokers, third-party administrators, and insurance companies now have a single, statewide network to offer their employees and clients. Within PPHN, each member PPO focuses on a specific geographic region providing local attention to providers and plan subscribers, and good customer service, while offering extensive geographic access to enrollees.
